As part of my decluttering and removing the less versatile pieces from my wardrobe, I've got a few things up for sale on Loligoth UK.
An offwhite Bolero from Bodyline and some offbrand jewelry.
http://community.livejournal.com/loligothuk/964724.html
UK shipping only.
I've been kind of busy doing a massive computer update so posting got put asside for that. Next time should be a basic primer to minimalism, or at least my idea of minimalism.

Outfit post- or why my house is problematic for pictures
First outfit post.
Went out for dinner with some friends to celebrate their house move being finalised. Here's my outfit.
Dress- Quiz,
Boots- New Look,
Bow necklace- Marc Jacobs.
Not visible- Socks- Metamorphose.
Yeah, as you can see there is a slight issue with taking picures in the full length mirror at night.
The landing is pretty dark and not well lit at the best of times. Any I take I end up needing to play with the levels to get them visible. Using the flash Isn't an option either as it obliterates everything else in the picture.
I'm trying to find a solution to this problem so I can get clearer outfit pics.
Bit of an extra.
What I did for my birthday at the end of Febuary, pre house move.
N.B- Its Remiu Hakurei from Touhou Project hanging from my mirror.

Up and coming posts.
Its been a busy week for me. Lots of stuff suddenly came up so posting got put on hold. So I've got togeather a little list of up and coming posts in the near future.
Craftywise:
- Knitting project in progress- Eyelash lace scarf.
- Lanyard replacement.
Fashionwise
- Fasion switching 101- Basics of changing fashions, basic hints to make transitions easier.
- One on going/leaving Goth,
- One on going/leaving Lolita,
- One on joining Gal.
Minimalismwise:
- My minimalist principles and how I live these.
- My ongoing efforts to unclutter.
I'm looking to put up lists regularly of interesting links, things I'm really into at the moment, awesome shops and suchlike.
There should be some trip reports from local place visits. Self+brother& friends tend to go somewhere interesting nearly every weekend.
The next one should be for Lyvden New Bield, just as long as I remeber my camera.
Thats it for the moment.
See you all soon, Mim.

The Japanese earthquake & aftermath.
Wow, just wow.
I've been keeping up with the footage throught the day; much of it is just insane, the way the tsunami just wiped out whole areas in one go.
Its a horrible situation. Most definatly not a time for black humour or to complain about difficulty getting Japanese products imported.
My thoughs are with everyone across the world who have been effected by the catastropy. I hope the death toll is as small as possible.
A bit of geology in a nutshell. Japan is volcanic island arc sitting on a subducting plate margin. The eartquakes originate in an area called the Wadatii-Benioff zone, an area of earthquakes caused my the subducting plate moving under the other one.
Its a horrible situation caused by something very interesting.

First entry: an introduction.
Hello everyone!
First entry, so I guess one needs to do a bit of an introduction.
Well, I'm Mim, I'm 25 and live in England.
I've following lolita fashion for about 5/6 years now, wearing it for about 3.
Over the last couple of years I developed an intrest in gyaru and my style is slowly developing that way.
There is still a good helping of my goth roots in there too.
Though I'm also a minimalist. It does kind of conflict with those ideas, so finding ways to be into fashions while keeping to my minimalist way of living is key in my life.
Work wise, former fine art student starting to make my way in the world post-university.
Alot of my work is 'craft' based. Using a wide variety of skills I've picked up over the years.
I sew, knit, bead, weld, solder, can make clothing, paint to some degree.

So expect lots of fashion, art, minimalist living, making things, with some dashes of exploration, archery, probably a few how-tos
and maybe some reviews of bad movies as well.
To finish, here is a picture not looking my best:
